The recipes I'm making in July

Hi Reader,

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! We went a party that day, then came home early to be with our dog during the fireworks. Like most pets, the noise makes him a little anxious, and our neighborhood puts on quite a display every year. Being that is was America's 250th birthday, it was extra loud and long, but we loved the celebration!

Now that the holiday is over, I'm getting back to planning my meals and new recipes that I want to work on. Corn, peaches, cherries, grilled meats and all the salads are what I'm craving now in particular.

With that in mind, I'm sharing a few recipes that I plan to make this month, but you can visit the entire July seasonal produce guide for more inspiration!

If there are any specific recipes you're looking for (or want me to create), hit reply and let me know!

Happy cooking!

Marcie

What I'm making in July

Blueberry Greek Yogurt Pancakes

I've been craving these pancakes so they're happening this week! They're so light and fluffy with a tender texture thanks to oat flour and Greek yogurt. What a way to start the day!

Basil Pesto Sauce

I love basil, and there's no better way to enjoy it than with a homemade pesto sauce. I plan to use it for a pesto pasta salad that will be coming your way soon!

Sonoma Chicken Salad

This is a classic for a reason. Tender shredded chicken, crisp grapes, crunchy celery and pecans are tossed in a sweet, tangy dressing. It's perfect for lunch and makes an easy summer dinner!

Grilled Turkey Burgers

Turkey burgers are my favorite, but they can be dry sometimes. I worked hard to create a version that is juicy and flavorful. These do not disappoint! I love them with my burger sauce and quick pickled red onions.

Peach Blueberry Crisp

It doesn't get better than a fruit crisp in the summertime and the peach-blueberry combo is one of my all time favorites!
