Hi Reader: It's not Thanksgiving without pie (especially pumpkin where I'm concerned!), and I truly love baking pies. Preparing a pie makes me feel so accomplished, which is probably because making pie crust from scratch used to completely intimidate me. Those days are long over! I have a simple homemade pie crust recipe that's a reader favorite, and it takes mere minutes to make. Plus it includes a handy video and it can be made days in advance or even frozen. Once you've got the pie crust down, you can easily prepare my pumpkin pie, apple cranberry pie or pear crumble pie. My pumpkin cheesecake pie includes an easy graham cracker crust, and my pumpkin pie bars have a foolproof press-in crust. See my entire category of pie recipes for more options. As a bonus, I've included recipes for homemade whipped cream, stabilized whipped cream and coconut whipped cream because those pies need toppings. What is your favorite Thanksgiving pie? Hit reply and let me know! Happy baking, Marcie Thanksgiving Pie RecipesPie Crust + Toppings!
