β I've been a Dodger fan since I was 10 years old (which was a long time ago), so I've been on Cloud 9 since they won the World Series Wednesday night! π The photo above was taken this past February when I took a trip to spring training in Arizona with my family. We're all Dodger fans and are planning another trip next year. π If you're a Yankee fan, I'm truly sorry. Trust me...I know how it feels to be on the other end! π₯ Are you a baseball fan, and if so did you catch the series? I'd love to hear your thoughts about it! Enough baseball talk -- it's time to talk turkey! π¦ π¦ π¦ Thanksgiving dinner is my favorite dinner of all time. Now I know that most people love the sides or dessert the best, but my favorite part about the dinner is the turkey. That's probably because it comes out perfectly juicy with a golden brown crispy skin every single time. And it's super easy because I never use a messy wet brine! So what's the secret? I've been dry brining my turkey for over 10 years since I learned about it in cooking school. Simply pat your turkey dry, salt it generously, then refrigerate it uncovered for up to 3 days before you cook it. The dry brine acts as a wet brine by breaking down the tough muscle proteins, which results in a juicier, more flavorful turkey. It also dries out the skin so that it gets nice and crispy. π I'm sharing (4) easy turkey recipes below that utilize a dry brine. Whether you want to roast a whole turkey, a turkey breast, or boneless turkey breast, I've got you covered. ππ» Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year?
