Hi Reader, April is just days away, and it happens to be my birth month. I thought it would be fun to share an OLD photo of me on my birthday. Yes, I grew up in the 70's as you can tell by the colors of our kitchen and how I was trying to feather my hair like Farrah Fawcett. I never played tennis either but just liked the shirt. 🤣🤣🤣 My birthday is on April 17th, so whenever it fell close to Easter my mom would make me an Easter bunny cake. I loved that cake and sometimes I think I need to make one myself for nostalgia's sake. I typically make my own birthday treats because then I know I'll get exactly what I want. I consider it my birthday gift to myself. haha Below I'm sharing this week's new recipes, along with (5) of my favorite desserts. Hi Reader, When I was growing up, my mom made corned beef and cabbage every St. Patrick's Day, and I kept the tradition alive with my own family.
