Hi Reader, I adore every variety of winter squash imaginable, but the one that I use the most often for its sweet, nutty flavor and versatility is butternut squash. I love it so much that I have created tutorials on how to peel and cut it and how to roast it whole so that it's not so intimidating to work with. And of course there is a handy produce guide on butternut squash that you can find below. I love roasting it and using it in salads, puréeing it into soup, using it in risotto or simply mashing it and serving it as a side dish. Butternut squash is truly fall's MVP!
