5 fall soups you'll make on repeat! πŸ²πŸ‚

Hi Reader,

I got back from Kauai last Sunday night. I had a wonderful time (how could I not...I was in Hawaii!), but I was so happy to get home to cooler temps and zero humidity. πŸ˜‚

Needless to say, I'm craving home cooked meals after eating out for a week. And nothing hits the spot like a cozy bowl of soup or chili!

Soup is one of my favorite things to prepare for so many reasons:

  • It's an easy one pot meal. One pot means easy clean-up!
  • It's affordable. Prices are so high right now, and soup is a cost-effective way to feed a family.
  • It's a great way to consume more vegetables. Let's face it, salads can get boring!
  • It's great for meal prep. Soup tastes even better the next day and it's freezer friendly.
  • It's customizable. It's so simple to swap protein, veggies and more with what you have on hand in your fridge and pantry.

Below I'm sharing (5) fall soups that I make time and time again and I hope you do too! And if you love soup as much as I do, be sure to check out my Soup for all Seasons Ebook!

Tarragon chicken salad

Hi Reader, I started lifting weights a little over a year ago to get stronger and strengthen my bones. I realized that I wasn't getting enough protein, so I've really been trying to up my protein intake. I try not to eat a lot of dairy, and I'm not a big fan of cottage cheese (which isn't too popular these days!), but thankfully there are plenty of other great protein sources that I love. If you struggle to stay full between lunch and dinner, I have plenty of high-protein lunch options that...

Rhubarb stalks

Hi Reader, I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Our friends threw a wonderful party, so we celebrated there. The weather was a bit wild as there was thunder, lightning and rain, but luckily it didn't spoil the fun. And the view of the orchards was beautiful as you can see above. :) I'm so excited that rhubarb season is here, and I've been buying up all the gorgeous red stalks that I can get my hands on. I made my strawberry rhubarb crisp for our weekly Sunday dinner with our kids...
