5 recipes to make in September

Hi Reader,

September is one the most unique months of the year as we can enjoy tomatoes, zucchini and peaches the same month as pumpkin, apples and pears!

I've been more than ready for fall after a hot, smoky summer. It's already getting cooler, so I'm craving comfort food in all forms.

Below I've rounded up some of my favorite recipes from my September produce guide. Check out the guide for even more inspiration!

What produce are you most excited to use this month? Hit reply and let me know!

Happy cooking!

5 Recipes to Make in September

Pumpkin Oat Flour Muffins

These muffins are soft and fluffy, with warm pumpkin spice flavor and dark chocolate chips. I always have my homemade pumpkin pie spice in my pantry this time of year for all the pumpkin baking!

Ratatouille

There's no better time to make ratatouille than right now when everything is at its peak! This classic French provencal stew is great with crusty bread, pasta or served with your favorite protein.

Pear Salad with Feta and Cranberries

This has been one of my family's favorite salads for years. Fresh juicy pears, creamy feta, chewy dried cranberries and crunchy almonds are a winning combination! It's all tossed in a a sweet, tangy balsamic vinaigrette.

Italian Stuffed Peppers

This is the ultimate summer comfort food. Tender roasted bell peppers are stuffed with a ground beef and rice filling and smothered with mozzarella cheese. Bonus that you can prep the entire recipe in advance!

French Apple Cake

This is one of the easiest cakes you'll ever make, and it always impresses. It's been a reader (and family favorite) for over 10 years!

Bacon and egg casserole

Hi Reader, I'm not a morning person in the slightest. When I get out of bed, I head straight for my coffee maker, and I'm already ahead of the game if I've prepped something for breakfast in advance.
